Project Overview

Founded in 1892, Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church is a large parish church in the small community of Lookout Mountain, Tennessee. Although they’ve been around for over 100 years, the presbyterian congregation is still looking to grow and reach neighbors in their mountain town.

LMPC was preparing to launch a three-year, $8.8 million capital campaign in partnership with Generis. The campaign’s theme was “Renew,” and its goal was to restore their facilities, revive their people, and release their resources to be more generous.

This was all in an effort to better fulfill their mission of “glorifying God by growing in grace and giving [their] lives away on the mountain, in the city, and around the world.” LMPC is already eyeing the church’s 150th anniversary in 2042 and wants to be even more impactful by that celebration.

To help ensure that the capital campaign was a success, LMPC turned to Clever for a number of graphic design and marketing services. This included creating a visual identity for the campaign, designing all of the campaign’s promotional assets, developing the campaign website, and creating several testimonial videos.

Lookout Mountain Presbyterian did not have the resources on staff to pull off this ambitious campaign, but with Clever’s help, all of the assets were designed and delivered on time. In addition, the campaign received more than $9.2 million in pledged donations—surpassing their initial goal. With this success, the LMPC leadership team decided to increase the goal to $17.3 million to maintain their forward momentum.
