• Role: Motion Graphics Designer, Independent Contractor
• Reports to: Design Services Manager

General Responsibilities:

• Develop and design creative motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for various media platforms including social media, website, advertising, and video content.
• Collaborate with other team members from other departments to ensure project success.
• Maintain attention to detail and accuracy.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging design trends and techniques in motion graphics and animation, and apply them to new projects.
• Participate in the development of storyboards and concept sketches to determine the direction of a project.
• Provide an estimate of the length of time to complete a project.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• At least 2+ years of experience in motion graphics design and animation.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• A passion for staying up to date with the latest design trends and techniques.

Compensation:

• $35-$50 per hour, based on experience. 

Location:

• Part-time, Remote.
