General Responsibilities:
- Google Ad Grants Management:
- Apply for, activate, and maintain Google Ad Grants accounts ($10,000/month in free Google Search ads) for eligible nonprofit clients.
- Ensure full compliance with Google Ad Grants policies, including 5% CTR minimums, conversion tracking, and keyword restrictions.
- Paid Google Ads Campaigns:
- Build and manage paid Google Search, Display, YouTube, and Performance Max campaigns aligned to client goals.
- Conduct keyword research using Google Keyword Planner and write compelling ad copy optimized for Quality Score.
- Campaign Optimization:
- Refine bidding strategies (Maximize Conversions, Target CPA, Target ROAS) and adjust targeting based on performance data.
- Run A/B tests on ad copy, headlines, and landing pages to continuously improve CTR and conversion rates.
- Analytics & Conversion Tracking:
- Configure conversion tracking in Google Ads and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure meaningful client outcomes.
- Analyze impressions, clicks, conversion rates, cost per conversion, and Quality Score to surface actionable recommendations.
- Audience Targeting:
- Build audience segments using in-market, affinity, custom, and remarketing audiences to reach the right people at the right time.
- Performance Reporting:
- Generate clear monthly performance reports showing spend, results against KPIs, and recommended next steps.
- Communicate insights in plain language for Ministry & Business leaders who may not be marketing experts.
- Budget Management:
- Allocate paid ad budgets across clients and campaigns to maximize ROI against each client’s goals.
- Track pacing to ensure full Google Ad Grants spend utilization and on-target paid budget delivery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work alongside the marketing, design, and web teams to ensure landing pages, creative, and tracking are aligned with campaign goals.
- Share insights with account managers to inform broader client strategy.
- Google Ad Grants Compliance:
- Monitor account health monthly to prevent suspension and reactivate suspended accounts when needed.
- Maintain meaningful conversion tracking and geo-targeted, intent-driven keyword sets to keep Grants accounts in good standing.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience managing Google Ads accounts, ideally including Google Ad Grants accounts for nonprofit clients.
- Google Ads certification (current or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, and Google Tag Manager.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
Compensation:
- Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
